Man’s Original Sin

Sin is the transgression of the law. What is the law? Anything God says becomes law and if your will goes against it you’re sinning. Adam was told to eat from any tree of the garden except from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. It wasn’t the eating of a physical fruit that was wrong because everything God created was good but the tree was spiritual in a sense that their act of disobedience is what made it sin. The moment the devil convinced Eve through her mind to eat from that which was forbidden by God that’s when sin conceived in her heart and she liked the idea of being like God knowing good and evil and becoming wise. However, God had created Man in his own image after his own likeness so for a brief moment Man forgot who they were. So Eve was enticed by the desires of the flesh and the ego of Man to be like God knowing good and evil overtaking her heart and later on when she convinced Adam, the devil worked through her and when Adam believed Eve or rather the devil instead of God who formed him, those thoughts conceived in his heart also and he partook in the breaking of the precept that God had put in place for Man which led to death for the wages of sin is death.
